A 1953 graduate of Wellington High School, as memories come to mind, I sometimes jot down stories that I call “Snipp ets.” These are left for my kids, grand kids and great-grandkids and may become of interest to get to know me better after I am gone.

The Fowler Agency purchased the Memphis Masonic Lodge from the Memphis Masonic Temple Association in July 2008. Once vacated, the restoration and renovation process began, removing dropped ceilings, colored tin from the windows and built-in additions form over the years. In 1949, the Memphis High School “Fighting Cyclones” underwent a tough season and came out with flying colors, winning the District, Regional and State Championships.The Cyclones played some very fine teams in those tournaments, all of which showed much sportsmanship and fine coaching.
