Rita Irene Green, 81, formerly of Wellington, Texas, peacefully passed away Sept. 1, 2026, in Memphis, Texas, at the home of her sister.Rita was born July 14, 1945, in Wellington. She was the daughter of Conley Lee Moody and Lorene Young Moody.

Jackie Lynn Daves, 82, passed away on Aug. 5, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. He was born Aug. 2, 1944, in Wellington, Texas, to Royce Lee Daves and Louella Dobbs Daves.Shortly after Jackie was born, the family moved to Wheeler, Texas, and later returned to Wellington when he was in fifth grade.

Herbert “Herbie” Clay, 78, of Erick, Oklahoma, passed away on August 5, 2026.He was born on March 18, 1948, in Wellington to Horace Wilson Clay and Maude Sixton Clay.Herbie worked as a truck driver, a career he loved because it allowed him to travel and explore different parts of the country.
