It has been just over a year since I had the honor of becoming your Chief of Police, and I remain overwhelmed and deeply grateful for the support I’ve received from the citizens of Childress.

CHILDRESS — InterBank recently announced the promotion of Farrah Holcomb to Senior Vice President and Community Bank President. Holcomb will be leading the lending and retail efforts in Childress, as well as holding a position on the North Texas Loan Committee.

Wild Card Youth Rodeo cancelled

CHILDRESS — The Wild Card Youth Rodeo Winter Series has been cancelled, according to event organizer Sheabree Nix. Originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24-Sunday. Jan. 25 the event was cancelled due to inclement weather.
