Childress Elementary School teacher Heather Overmiller is awarded Educator of the Year by Childress Elementary School Principal Tracey Blake. “She has a heart of gold,” Blake said. “She does whatever it takes to make her students feel success in the classroom.” In her 10th year of education, Overmiller teaches second grade, as well as serves as Yearbook Advisor.
