The 1st Annual Childress Little League Opening Day Fest, including food and boutique vendors, will take place from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Rockfield. Following the Opening Day Ceremony at 5 p.m., the first game of the season will tee off at 6:30 p.m.

CHILDRESS – CTX Run Club, hosted by Ashley Ramos and Aaron Ramos, hosted its first-ever Egg Hunt and Run Saturday, March 30 at Bobcat Nutrition, welcoming over 45 attendees, including the Easter Bunny. “It was a huge success,” Ashley Ramos said.

BATON ROUGE, La. – Adah Henderson, a 2023 graduate of Childress High School, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Henderson was initiated at The University of Texas at Austin.
