“Coming in 2026, birthday jubilee celebrating our country, 250 years, and our county, 150 years,” reads Collingsworth County Museum’s parade declaration depicting trades of days gone by.
For 2019, the Wellington Ex-Student Association combined their 68th annual reunion with the Skyrockets’ homecoming to increase attendance. Members of the Wellington High School Class of 1968 convened for reunion events, marking its 51st anniversary, where Nancy Thomas Lindsey Adair loved working the soft drink bar. WELLINGTON – “We call our reunion the ‘Ex-Students’ reunion,” said Wellington Ex-Students Association President Renee Hanna. “That means you don’t have to have graduated from Wellington High School (WHS), but if you ever attended school here, you are an ex-student.
