CHILDRESS — Modern Home Club held a regular monthly meeting Thursday, Jan.16 at 1930 Remnant.President Soundra Christy called the meeting to order, followed by the reading of minutes by Raenell Smith and the treasurer’s report by Mary Ann Hickman.

Hall County Livestock Show to welcome exhibitors this weekend

The Hall County Livestock Show will welcome youth exhibitors this weekend. Following registration from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, rabbit weigh-in will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, followed by swine, sheep, goat and cattle weigh-in from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, the show will kick off at 9 a.m.
