Greenbelt area sales tax revenues mixed

AUSTIN — Sales tax revenues in the Greenbelt area were mixed when Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock delivered local allocations last week.

Four of six local municipalities posted increases for the month of June.

The City of Childress was up 115.19% compared to this time last year with an allocation of $240,426.24. The Gateway City is now up 26.69% for the calendar year-to-date at $935,076.20.
