The Region 16 Education Service Center in Amarillo recently recognized 31 outstanding teachers as nominees for the Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year Awards. Michelle Branigan was nominated for the secondary award, and Mercedes Altman was a nominee for the elementary award.
