Mum decorating signals start of Homecoming

CHILDRESS – The Childress community celebrated a little bit of Texas tradition on Saturday, Sept. 5, as the museum hosted its annual mum decorating event.

Held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event welcomed local children to come out, get creative and make their very own homecoming mum. By the end of the afternoon, approximately 50 mums had been decorated.
