Spark reschedules grand opening

CHILDRESS – After the first grand opening celebration was rained out, Childress Spark President Shelly Pierce said the nonprofit is ready to try again, rescheduling for 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 29 in Fair Park.

“Mother Nature had other plans for us last time,” Pierce said. “And, honestly, after the rain we’ve needed here in Texas, we couldn’t complain too much.”
