Sparklers receive Accelerated Reading rewards

  • On Friday, May 8, Wellington Elementary School first-fifth-grade Sparklers who earned over 50 Accelerated Reading (AR) points boarded the Skyrocket bus for a trip to Wonderland Amusement Park in Amarillo.   • Kindergarten-second-grade sparklers journey to the Wellington Aquatics Venue (WAV) track on Wednesday, May 13 for an Accelerated Reading (AR) Celebration. Students rode bikes and scooters, skated and created chalk art designs on the sidewalks as a reward for reaching their AR goals.
