CHILDRESS – The Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) Childress District honored its interns during a National Intern Day event held at district headquarters on Thursday, July 30.
During the event, Childress District Engineer Darwin Lankford announced the 2026 Intern of the Year.
Jaden Rodriguez, an intern maintenance technician with Childress Maintenance, received this year’s award.
