WELLINGTON – Wellington State Bank (WSB) recently named Jonathan Brewer its new Wellington Branch President. Brewer brings to WSB 15 years of banking experience, an in-depth knowledge of its banking products and strong support for the community.
“It is my pleasure to welcome Jonathan Brewer to the bank,” said Wellington State Bank Chief Executive Officer Richard Sims. “His solid foundation for understanding customers and the business community makes Jonathan well suited for his new role with WSB. We trust that our customers in Wellington will remain in experienced hands under his leadership.”
Brewer began his banking career in 2009 at Synovus Financial Corp., serving in Charleston, S.C. He assumed increasing levels of responsibilities with another financial institution, serving as a commercial lender, credit officer and chief credit officer. He studied at Charleston Southern University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and master’s in business administration.
