Summertime, according to the song, is when the livin’ is easy. But a lot of the time, the livin’ is a challenge. For a short while, earlier in our lives, a minimum wage and income was a wonderful step up from childhood, but life, at the minimum, is not a “livable wage.” It never has been.

MEMPHIS — The Memphis Cyclones took three back-to-back losses, falling to Floydada Saturday, April 11, Clarendon Tuesday, April 14 and Quanah Friday,April 17.In an 11-1 loss to Floydada, Memphis’ Adrian Flores gave up 17 hits and 11 runs over six innings, striking out five and walking none.

Tuesday, April 14, a Cessna Citation, from Austin, another one from Houston and a Gulfstream, from Houston, all dropped off passengers and stayed overnight.Wednesday, April 15, the Gulfstream took one of its passengers to Dallas and then returned for the others.
