On April 26, the Wellington Church of the Nazarene congregation observes Blue Sunday. With April being Child Abuse Prevention Month, members took time to pray for abused children on this special occasion. “Pray they are placed with caring people, that their minds and bodies can heal, that they find hope and for those who rescue them,” Pastor Leah Fort said. March madness: Wild weather

When I saw the Texas wild plums already in full bloom at the end of February, I figured we might be in for wild weather. We froze many plants one morning only to “fry” some others three days later, and all before the official first day of spring!
