Unnanounced: That’s a challenge
Childress High School (CHS) senior Addi Edmondson recently received the Legacy Scholarship from the Elks National Foundation Scholarship Program. Totaling $6,000, Edmondson is one of 400 recipients in the United States and one of only seven Texas recipients. The daughter of Justin and Debra Edmondson, Edmondson is set to graduate fifth in the CHS Class of 2026, carrying a 100.5 average. Edmondson plans to attend Texas Tech University, where she will study pre-nursing.

The First Baptist Church (FBC) 55+ luncheon meets Tuesday, April 14 in the Fellowship Hall, welcoming a crowd of 25. Meal and fellowship were followed by a word from FBC Pastor Tim Medley.
