Kane, Mathis inducted into Rocket House Hall of Fame at Wellington Ex-Students 74th annual reunion
The 2025 inductees to the Rocket House Hall of Fame, inducted by Wellington Ex-Students, include Kyle Kane, left, and Jason Mathis, with his mother Renee Mathis accepting his award on his behalf. Announced at the Wellington Ex-Student Reunion on Saturday, Aug. 2, the crowd celebrated two of the most decorated runners to ever wear the red and white.
WELLINGTON – To open the 11:30 a.m. business meeting of the Wellington Ex-Student Association on Saturday, Aug. 2, President Renee Mitchell Hanna, Wellington High School (WHS) Class of 1975, welcomed visitors in the Club Room of the Bura Handley Community Center.
“Welcome to our 74th annual Wellington ex-students reunion,” Hanna said. “Whew, that’s a long time!”
