First United Bank warns of spoofing

CHILDRESS — First United Bank recently warned the public of scam calls spoofing the local bank’s phone number.

“We have been notified that our bank phone number has been spoofed,” First United Bank Vice President and Banking Center Manager Alabama Bohannon said. “Someone is acting as if they’re a First United Bank employee located in Childress.”
