Dave Thomas is appointed Memphis Police Chief Friday, Feb. 17. “I would like to thank everyone that supported me for police chief, especially my family; my wife, Deneen; my son, David; and my daughter, Sidda – they have been so awesome,” Thomas said. “I’m excited to work for the City of Memphis and to serve the citizens of this wonderful community. I hope to serve for a long time to come.”
