WELLINGTON – While Mona’s Firehouse Cocina won multiple Best of The Sun categories since 2021, owners of the popular restaurant have decided to close its doors. Welcoming hungry patrons since November 2016 just west of Wellington Volunteer Fire Department, owners Jerry and Mona Granados, and their son, Elijah, made the difficult decision, with Friday, Dec. 20 being the final day of operation.
