Wellington Gun Club expands facilities, opens 2025 shooting season

  • Wellington Gun Club’s most recent improvement to the 40-acre shooting range is the club house. Located one mile west of Wellington on FM 338, the entrance is a half mile north on CR 170. The club house complements two trap ranges, a skeet field and a rifle/pistol range. While a private donation funded the club house, additional private funds have been designated to improvements for the rifle/pistol range.

    WELLINGTON – With the shooting range located just west of town, the Wellington Gun Club (WGC) Board of Directors jumped ahead and constructed a much needed 30’x 30’club house with an 8’x 30’ porch.
