BROWNSVILLE — The Amarillo Fleet Track and Field Club, including Memphis’ Aija Johnson, Jurayiah Knox and Kalijah Mackie, competed in the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) 2023 Summer Games of Texas Track and Field Championships, held Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30 in Brownsville.

The Bobcat Booster Club invites the community to help wrap signs around Childress High School and Fair Park Stadium for the upcoming 2023 football season. Volunteers will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Childress High School gymnasium. Scissors, stepladders and tape will be needed.

LAWTON, Okla. – From competing on her stick horse as a two-yearold to barrel racing on her horse as a teenager, Harlee Gomez loves to rodeo. “I love that rodeo is something everyone in my family has done for generations, and I get to be a part of the legacy they have made,”Gomez said.
The 2023 Memphis Cyclone football schedule was recently released. The official season will begin Friday, Aug. 25 against the Dimmitt Bobcats, with district play commencing against the Quanah Indians Friday, Oct. 6.
