CHILDRESS — Despite putting up one of their highest scores of the season, the Childress Bobcats ultimately dropped the district opener last Friday night,Oct.7,falling 62-28 in a gritty matchup against the Canadian Wildcats.

MEMPHIS — Racking up an impressive 262 yards on offense, the Memphis Cyclones put away the Quanah Indians Friday night, Oct.7,picking up a district-opening 26-14 win, thanks to Austin Valle, who stacked up 167 yards on the ground with 27 carries and three touchdowns.
