Childress’ Smith qualifies for regionals

CHILDRESS — Carrying the momentum from a big win over Stratford into district play, the Childress Bobcats dominated the Friona Chieftains in a 52-0 shutout Friday, Oct. 10 at Chieftain Stadium in Friona.

STRATFORD — Following a tough loss, the Childress Bobcats bounced back in their final non-district matchup Friday, Oct. 3 at E.L. Bass Stadium, taking a hard-fought 4126 win over the Stratford Elks to make one final statement before district play.
