ATLANTA, Ga. – Wellington High School Class of 2025 graduate Florentino “TJ” Salinas participated in the 2025 Native American All-Star Showcase from Thursday, June 19-Sunday, June 22 at the Truist Park in Atlanta, Ga.

CHILDRESS — Donned “strikeout queen of the Lone Star State,” Ansley Parr, an upcoming junior at Childress High School, was recently selected to the 2025 Sideline Sports Softball Supreme Team as the Pitcher of the Year.

CTX Run Club hosts the 2nd Annual Red, White and Run 5K Friday, July 4 at Fair Park in Childress, where Kaden Husband finished in first place, followed by Cary Keys in second, and Hudson Elliot in third.
Lady Cat Basketball Camp is gearing up a four-day session Monday, July 14-Thursday, July 17. Incoming second-fifth grade students will practice from 8:30-11:30 a.m., followed by incoming sixth-ninth grade students from 1-4 p.m. Registration is $50 per player and can be paid via cash, Venmo to @eric-davis-283 or Cash App to $daviseric15.
