Childress’ Ansley Parr selected to THSCA Softball Super Elite Team

Childress High School YearbookChildress High School’s Ansley Parr was recently selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association’s (THSCA) 2024-2025 Class 3A Softball Super Elite Team. Currently, Parr leads the U.S. in strikeouts, beating Florida’s Violet Flynn by eight.

Childress’ Taylor Wiseman was recently selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association 2024-2025 Girls Track and Field Class 3A Super Elite Team. A University of Oregon commit, Wiseman sealed double-gold at the UIL Class 3A State Track and Field Championships, throwing first-place finishes in both discus and shot put, breaking the Class 3A shot put state record.
