WELLINGTON — The bottom of the lineup helped Wellington capture a 7-4 victory over Calrendon Friday, April 3, as Leo Granadoz, Colton Jernigan and Trevyn Wiebe combined for four of the team’s eight hits,scoring two runs and driving in three.

Wellington Lady Rockets Taytum Kane, a sophomore, and Brynlee Proffitt, a senior, were recently named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-State team. The sophomore guard and senior forward helped guide the girls to the UIL Division I Regional Finals and an impressive 28-8 season record. Wellington High School
