Wellington ISD Board of Trustees welcome guest on girls’ sports

WELLINGTON – The Wellington Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 in the Superintendent’s Office.Board President Cody Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with a quorum present. Mark Lemons offered a word of prayer.
As servings of chocolate, strawberry and lemon sheet cake line the stage of the Bura Handley Community Center, families partake in the Wellington Lions Club Fiesta Pile-On Fundraiser from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7. Wellington Ritz TheatreThe Wellington Ritz Theatre hosted ghosts and goblins for its 2025 Halloween Spooktacular event, where moviegoers brought a canned food item for free entry at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27. Costume photos began at 6 p.m., and “The Addams Family” served as the feature film.
