Wellington Elementary Sparklers thank military service men and women as each student placed a U.S. flag near the Veterans Day Hometown Yard Cards tribute on the north lawn of the school Friday, Nov. 11.

Firecrackers present Mixons monetary gift

WELLINGTON – The student body, along with the teachers and support staff of Wellington Junior High School (WJHS), joined in a recent “Kaydence Mixon Penny War” for another worthy cause in the gymnasium. Justin and Natasha Mixon, along with Landry and Kaydence, attended the “Gold, Fight Win!

Wellington routs Clarendon for district crown

WELLINGTON – The Wellington Skyrockets gained a measure of revenge from a year ago and won the outright District 2-2A Division II District Championship in the process, routing the Clarendon Broncos 44-8 on the road on Friday night,Nov.4.

No. 3 Wellington blanks Memphis Cyclones

WELLINGTON — Picking up their second consecutive district win of the season, the No. 3 Wellington Skyrockets blasted past the Memphis Cyclones in a 50-0 blank Friday night, Oct. 14 at Powell Field.
