JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION The Second Annual Juneteenth Celebration, hosted by the Butler and Matthews Reunion, will be held Saturday, June 17. This year’s parade theme will be “2023 Come Party with Me!” Parade colors include black, red, green, yellow, white and orange. WELLNESS SKILLS GROUP Wellness Skills Group meetings, facilitated by Rolling Plains Counseling and Wellness Center Marriage and Family Therapist Intern Karissa Jurado, will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday from Tuesday, May 30-Wednesday, June 21 at the Travis Elementary School Better Together Building. The meetings, geared for incoming sixth- through eighth-grade students, will teach students how to regulate strong emotions in a healthy way, cope with stress and improve relationships while connecting with other teens.
