Wellington Elementary School first-grade students travel back in time at Collingsworth County Museum Friday, May 12. Hosting the almost 30 students, Collingsworth County Museum Curator Karen Caldwell thanks volunteers, including Glenda Anglin, who portrayed an 1890 Wellington pioneer woman, and Darrell Colson, who depicted an early-day cowboy in the Last Indian Raid, as well as tour guides Kelly Bawcom, Lameda Black and Jeff Thomas and educators Lauren Patterson and Chandi Taylor. “The kiddos were awesome and asked some great questions,” Caldwell said.
