Ashley Lemons is the winner of the 2023 Wellington Opportunity Center, Inc. zero-turn John Deere mower raffle. Lexi Morton, four-year-old granddaughter of Director Shelly Brim, pulled Lemons’ ticket from hundreds of entries in the golden raffle drum. Assisted by Director Amanda Sanchez and WOCI board member Sherri Barton, the annual bake sale preceded the mower drawing beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 6 at the WOCI facility, located at 817 West Ave. Brim, Sanchez and the WOCI Board of Directors appreciate the support of the community by buying mower tickets, providing items for the bake sale and for purchasing bake sale goods.
