Childress County Extension Agent addresses Modern Home Club

CHILDRESS – Modern Home Club met Thursday, March 21 at the Childress County Heritage Museum. Soundra Christy opened the meeting, welcoming members and guests. No treasurer’s report was given. Reading of the minutes were accepted without changes or additions.

With special glasses provided by Collingsworth Public Library, its viewing party participants dine on Sun Chips, Moon Pie snacks and homemade eclipse cookies while sipping sun tea and Capri Sun and viewing the partial solar eclipse in the south library parking lot Monday, April 8.

ECLIPSE WATCH PARTY Join the Memphis Chamber of Commerce for an Eclipse Watch Party at 11:45 a.m. Monday, April 8 at the Memphis City Park Amphitheater. The Memphis Chamber of Commerce will provide solar eclipse glasses until gone. Attendees are asked to bring a sack lunch.
