CHILDRESS — Tuesday, Feb. 13, a Pilatus PC-12 flew in from Nacogdoches for business, and a Cessna 172 practiced in the area. Another 172 stopped in for fuel on its way from Gainesville to Hereford, and a Beechcraft Baron flew in for fuel. Wednesday, Feb.

Carrie Skelton’s Wellington Elementary School third-grade science classes collect cereal boxes for not only a force and motion activity but as a donation as well. A contest between the three third-grade classes, the class that brought the most boxes received a donut party.
