CHILDRESS — Modern Home Club met Thursday, Jan. 18 at the Shady Grove Apartments-Childress Housing Authority Community Room. Soundra Christy opened the meeting with the introduction and welcome of two new members,Norma Duran and Mary Ann Hall. The treasurer’s report was submitted.

Wild Card Youth Rodeo recently announced the cancellation of this weekend’s Winter Rodeo Series events, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20 and Sunday, Jan. 21. “We are super bummed, but we have made the decision to cancel this weekend,” Wild Card Youth Rodeo organizer Sheabree Nix said.
