CHILDRESS — The 2022-2023 Childress High School Student Council (STUCO) recently made a donation to the Childress Theatre Company and Palace Theater. The donation was made following STUCO’s canned food drive contest, in which nonperishable items were collected for Childress Meals on Wheels.

WELLINGTON Dennis Cudd and Judy Crawford exchanged wedding vows at the First Methodist Church in Wellington on Jan. 25, 1963. At the time, Dennis attended West Texas State University (WT), located in Canyon, and Judy was a junior in high school.
