WELLINGTON – Plans are in the works for the Tuesday, Oct. 25 Wellington Health Fair. Organized by Collingsworth General Hospital (CGH), Collingsworth Family Medicine and Wellington Emergency Medical Service (WEMS), the event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lambert takes reigns of FBC Wellington

WELLINGTON – Ronnie Lambert, new First Baptist Church (FBC) Wellington pastor, grew up on a farm just outside of Memphis. Raised in a Christian home and in FBC Memphis, he explained he was saved at the age of nine, and he surrendered to preach the gospel at the age of 22.

Wellington Lions set Fiesta Pile-On fundraiser date

WELLINGTON – For the first time since 2019, Wellington Lions Club will conduct its Fiesta Pile-On Dinner fundraiser from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 at the Wellington ISD School Cafeteria, 1505 Childress St., prior to the Skyrockets versus Memphis Cyclones football game.
