CHILDRESS — On Monday, June 12, two pleas took place in the 100th Judicial District Court in Childress County.
District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District Luke Inman, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Stuart Messer presiding.
Emanuel Paul Ayala, 25, of Childress, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the third-degree felony offense of assault by choking.
