HEDLEY – Hedley Independent School District (ISD) recently announced the hiring of Tracey Bell for the position of superintendent. Bell comes to Hedley from Vega ISD, where she served as the junior high principal for six years.
Bell graduated from Wellington High School and received her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from West Texas A&M University. She earned her master’s degree in school counseling from Lamar University. Bell obtained her School Administration Certifications from Lamar University. Previously, Bell taught at Lakeview ISD, Memphis ISD and Wellington ISD.
As part of her new role as superintendent,Bell is encouraging parents from neighboring communities to come visit Hedley ISD and consider transferring for the upcoming school year.
