CHILDRESS – The Childress County Commissioners Court enacted a burn ban September 14.
Under the commissioners’ order, all outdoor burning, with the exception of burning trash in an approved container with screen cover and while supervised, is prohibited in the unincorporated areas of the county for 90 days unless restrictions are lifted earlier.
