Childress Senior Center hosts annual Easter Luncheon
Maxine Skinner, left, and Deloris Trevino were among the 50 seniors who attended the annual Easter Luncheon Thursday, April 6 at the Childress Senior Center. A traditional Easter feast, including ham, chicken and dressing, along with a variety of side dishes, was served. Highlighting the dessert table was an iced white sheet cake adorned with a spring floral motif. The Easter Bunny also gave each guest a brown bag of assorted candies. Photos by Grace Holman
Following the Easter Luncheon, Becky Hightower, left, and Gail Trammel enjoy dessert, which included homemade cherry pie. The brown bags, left by the Easter Bunny, were filled with take-home treats, including cookies and candies.
With lunch over and the tabled cleared, Dayne Whitten and Sug Reitmeier are ready for a game of Train. The game of Train, as well as dominoes, are always on the Thursday luncheon agenda at the Childress Senior Center.
