WELLINGTON — Following a recent inspection of Collingsworth County Jail, the Collingsworth County Sheriff ’s Office was awarded a Certificate of Compliance by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards.
The following letter was sent to Collingsworth County Sheriff Alan “Kent” Riley from Texas Commission on Jail Standards Executive Director Brandon S. Wood.
Dear Sheriff Riley, The Texas Commission on Jail Standards wishes to acknowledge the excellent work of the Collingsworth County Sheriff ’s Office with a Certificate of Compliance for the Collingsworth County Jail. The most recent inspection of your facility on May 25, 2023, by Texas Commission on Jail Standards Inspector Jason Jouett, has demonstrated that your facility is in compliance with Texas Minimum Jail Standards.
