Due to extreme fire conditions, Childress County Judge Kimberly Jones extended the burn ban for an additional seven days Tuesday, April 18. The ban will be discussed by Childress County Commissioners and possibly extended at a special meeting at 9 a.m. Monday, April 24 in the Commissioners’ Courtroom at the Childress County Courthouse. Texas counties currently under burn ban are highlighted in red.
