McLaughlin sentenced to 14 months in prison

PANHANDLE – On April 12, Clements Gerald McLaughlin, 58, was sentenced to 14 months in prison after he pled true in the Carson County District Courtroom, where he was found guilty of the state jail felony offense of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group one, methamphetamine.

District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District Luke Inman, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Stuart Messer presiding.

McLaughlin, 59, of Lefors, was arrested with a user amount of methamphetamine on June 7, 2020, by Carson County Deputy J.J. Zundt.
