WELLINGTON – At its recent meeting, the Wellington City Council unanimously approved a contract with Texas Communities Group, LLC, a third-party code enforcement agency which serves rural areas that don’t have the resources for a full-time code enforcement department.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Childress’ Stran Smith, a world champion tie-down roper, was inducted into the Pro-Rodeo Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Saturday, July 12 at the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colo.

WELLINGTON – Boss Lion Lori O’Rear welcomed the guests and membership to the 6:30 p.m.Monday,July 7 meeting of the Wellington Lions Club in the Club Room of the Bura Handle Community Center.Lion Dave Hall led the American pledge and Lion Lucinda Martindale led the Texas pledge.
