Santa Claus makes his first stop of the holiday season at the Childress County Heritage Museum Saturday, Nov. 16. “Santa gave our museum an incredible gift—all of the proceeds from the event are going toward next year’s kids’ program,” Childress County Heritage Museum Director Niki Seal said.

On Friday, Nov. 1, Wellington High School (WHS) recognized members of the Class of 2025 who are active in band, cheerleading, cross country and football. Kearstyn Molina is the daughter of Amos Molina. She has been a member of the Rocket Regiment for five years.

WELLINGTON – A bicycle giveaway, for both a girl and a boy, will highlight the Collingsworth County Chamber of Commerce Lighting of the Square. The annual event is set for 5:307 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 in downtown Wellington.
