Memphis powerlifters dominate Clarendon meet

CLARENDON — Competing Friday, Feb. 6, the Memphis Cyclones and Lady Cyclones made easy work of competition at the Clarendon powerlifting meet, with the both the Cyclones and Lady Cyclones bringing home first-place team finishes.
In an election of new Collingsworth County Chamber of Commerce officers on Monday, Feb. 9 at Collingsworth County Museum, Cindy Weatherly assumes the presidency position, previously held by Karen Caldwell for several years.

WELLINGTON – Meeting in the Ellis Art Center of Collingsworth County Museum, the Collingsworth County Chamber of Commerce convened at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9 to elect officers and discuss upcoming county celebrations. President Karen Caldwell welcomed chamber members and offered an opening prayer.
