WHS land team advances to state FFA contest

TARLETON – Traveling to the annual Area 1 Future Farmer of America (FFA) Career Development Event (CDE), the Wellington FFA Land Judging team brought home a second-place team finish, earning a trip to the state contest back in Stephenville on Thursday, April 23.

WELLINGTON – The Wellington Lions Club is excited to host the annual City-Wide Cleanup on Friday and Saturday, April 24-25 – a great opportunity to freshen up homes, yards and neighborhoods.City residents who pay a water bill can take advantage of free access to the city dump during this event.
