CHILDRESS — Modern Home Club met Thursday, Sept. 18 at the Childress County Heritage Museum. The meeting was called to order by President Soundra Christy with a welcome to members and guests, including new member Millie Spencer and return member Frankie McKinney.

CHILDRESS — The Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will offer free child car safety seat inspections during a Child Passenger and Car Seat Check-Up Event from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at HTeaO, 1305 Ave. F NW, Childress.
